Inibility to think clearly

I was hit on the head with the realization of how many friends I have, and how fortunate I have been with them in my life. Unfortunately this came to me after I was hit by the bus of realization that there are very few of them left in the E-U-gene. I got access to some tickets for the Ems game today and called a few people who had other plans. Then my list petered off and I went into a minor state of depression. I was supposed to move a wood pile from our driveway to the lower part of our back yard, but it was hot and I was working at the same speed as our city road construction workers. I went to my room with the intentions of a nap, but ended up watching the movie Snatch on my computer. During the movie my slave driver parents got home from their weekend camping trip, so I went outside immediately after the movie was over to finish my job. This has not been a very premium day. I could not call most of my friends because they are in other states. I'm very ready to move out of this town! I'm ready to do what almost everyone else has done already...go to college. Tonight, I must get our of my house or I will flip a walnut. I am going to go disc golfing with some friends that are still here. Wish me luck...

family relationships seem to get easier the more you spend time/distance apart; you appreciate the good moments and learn to chill out during the bad moments

you don't have too much longer to wait! And similar to ginny, I love you too. But unlike ginny, I did not cry when I left my family, nor when mom left me here. I was happy. But I felt kinda bad, cause she cried.

hooray for college!
