Goodnight Vegas
As I sit in the San Fransisco Airport I lament returning from this endeavor. There were so many great aspects of this weekend!
I ran into my former teammate Eli Janin who now plays for UO. I was telling him that I felt like a celebrity at the tournament because I knew so many people on different teams. It was great. I ran into Sam Barber, Chris Bronson, Chris Norton, and Julia from South, Jackson Kelsay, and Eli Janin from Churchill, and most importantly, Collin and David were there. I wish I had more time to hang out with all of them...oh well
My plane ride put me in Vegas on Wednesday night and there were only Chris Hancock, and Aaron Hursey were going to be there that early. We got a room at the Tropicana right on The Strip. We checked into our room around 11:30pm, and left to meander The Strip at 1:00am. We got back to the hotel around 3:00am and went hot tubbing in one of the three hot tubs at the hotel. It was pretty bliss. I hung out with more of the team last night at the frisbee party and made some "memories." Good times!
Now, it's almost 10:00pm and I will be getting to Eugene, where none other than James will be picking me up. My back is about the color of a ripe tomato, or perhaps a firetruck...maybe a strawberry, I don't really know the exact shade it is, but I do know that its probably going to hurt like a mother tonight in bed. (that's what she said)
My flight is about to start boarding, so I'm going to bid you all adieu.
(the time stamp is going to be way off because I don't have the internet here in the airport, so I'm going to have to wait until I get back to my dorm to post it. It is currently 9:58pm February 10, 2008)
